About this Tour
Mount Kailash (6,638 m) in Tibet is a sacred peak revered in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva, it is a major pilgrimage site where devotees perform a 52 km circumambulation (Kailash Parikrama). Its unique pyramid-like shape and spiritual significance make it one of the holiest mountains in the world.
Itenarary
Day 1
Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,337m) Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel
Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing &Yatra Preparation
Visit the beauties of Kathmandu Valley, including the iconic Shri Pashupatinath TempleBudhanilkantha and Swayambhunath Stupa. After lunch, pack up, journey preparation and program briefing.
Day 3
Kathmandu to Timure (1,900m)
Scenic drive to Timure (127km, 7 hours)
Day 4
Timure to Kerung (3000m)
Border clearance and drive to Kerung (24km, 1 hour)
Day 5
Kerung to Saga (4,610m)
Journey through stunning landscapes of Tibetan Plateau to Saga (240km, 4-5 hours)
Day 6
Acclimatization Day at Saga
Explore the Saga city, rest and prepare for further higher altitude journey to Mansarovar
Day 7
Saga to Sacred Lake Mansarovar (4,560m)
Drive to Sacred Lake Mansarovar (4,560M, 478km, 8-9hrs). Witness breathtaking views of the Sacred Lake Mansarovar (Parikrama) and the southern Façade (Guru Mukh) of Kailash Parbat, Gurlaman-Datta Himalaya, Hor-Chu Gompa, Thu-Gu Gompa, Chiu–Gompa and Ravan Lake also called Rakshes Tal; during the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake.
Day 8
Lake Mansarovar to Darchen (4,670m)
Morning free for spiritual activities; Darshana of Mansarovar Lake and Kailash Parvat at Dawn, Darshana of SunRise over the Mansarovar Lake, Puja Hawana and like Vedic Perform. Drive to Darchen (4,560m, 40km, 1- 2 hrs). Rest and prepare for Holy Mt. Kailash Parikrama.
Day 9
Darchen to Driaphuk (4,860m)
Drive to Yam-Dwar (20 minutes) and trek to Driaphuk. (12km- 6 to 7 hours). If unexhausted, trek further (1.5 to 2 hours) to Northern Charan Sparsh
Day 10
Driaphuk to Zhuthulphuk (4,760m)
Trek via Dolma-La (5,670m), covering 18km (9-10 hours). Darshana of Shivasthali, Ganesh Kund, Ganesh Parvat and Gauri Kund. Darshana of East Facade of Holy Mt. Kailash while descending to Zhuthulphuk
Day 11
Zhuthulphuk to Saga
Trek (3 hours) to end the Kailash Parikrama. Drive to Saga (470km 7-8 hours)
Day 12
Saga to Kathmandu via Kerung Border
Drive to Kerung border (3 hours). After clearing immigration, drive to Kathmandu (5-6 hours)
Day 13
Departure
Conclude your spiritual journey. Depart for your further destination
